Our wood joints animations are complemented by interactive tests about the names of the various wood joints used in D&T and in industry. There are two types of tests, a multiple choice test with feedback and score and a harder test with input fields, feedback and score. |
Multiple choice tests and tests with input fields
Our latest tests include feedback, scoreboard, total score and "Start Over" buttons. The numbers on the scoreboard are linked to the questions.
Multiple choice tests may be used as start of module test to assess prior knowledge and as an end of module test for students that cannot cope with the more rigorous tests with input fields.
Test with input fields may be used as an end of module test to assess the level of new knowledge.

Recording students' results
Students should use screen capture software to take a screen shot of the bottom part of their finished tests, then save the screen shot to a place chosen by the teacher.
The teacher may paste the screen shots into a document, either full size or reduced to make them all fit on the minimum number of pages. The teacher then saves the page as a document or as a PDF.
The teacher now has a record of each student’s answers and the total score. View example PDF.
